Installing MySql connector

<h3>Download the driver</h3>
<p>First you need to download the connector from MySql. The connector is available at <a href="http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/connector/net/5.1.html">http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/connector/net/5.1.html</a> Make sure you get the version 5.1 (or later) connector. And this requires MySql 5.0 or later. AutoTag does not support earlier versions of the MySql connector. (The engine <strong>does</strong> support earlier versions.)</p>
<p>Install the connector. You must exit all copies of Word & Excel after installing the connector and then restart them for AutoTag to see the MySql connector.</p>
<p>If MySql is not shown in AutoTag:</p>
<ol>
<li>Reboot.</li>
<li>Check that the connector is installed in the GAC.</li>
<li>Check the node <DbProviderFactories> in the file C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\CONFIG\machine.config and make sure the MySql connector is listed.</li>
